Nairobi : May 2017…. After over 18 months intensive study and evaluation, the Kenyan Veterinary Board, the official chartered body that regulates veterinary practice, has officially approved Cojengo’s Vet Africa smartphone application and cloud database for nationwide deployment in Kenya.

“There were many challenges to address” said Martin Njeru Mbogo, Cojengo’s East African Account Director. “The move towards an automated diagnostics approach based on AI was understandably viewed with great caution by both the KVB’s academics and professionals alike. But just as in human medicine the trend towards AI to improve efficiencies is recognized as relevant for animal health too so we are both grateful and happy to have achieved this major milestone”.
